A little about me: over the past five years, I've built a career in academia that's turned out to be broader than a single job title can really capture. I teach Business, Finance and Management. I coordinate faculty development and academic scheduling. I sit within the admissions team, talking to students and their families about decisions that matter to them. And alongside all of that, I do the quieter, unglamorous work of keeping records accurate, documentation audit-ready, and data organised, while also pursuing a PhD and publishing research on the side.
I'm sharing all of that not to list credentials, but because I think it's genuinely who I am as a professional: someone who's comfortable moving between teaching a room full of students, sitting one-on-one with a worried parent, coordinating a six-day faculty programme, and quietly making sure the paperwork behind all of it is in order. I like that variety. I think it's made me more adaptable, not less focused, I've learned to read a room, whether that room is a classroom, a meeting, or a walk-in inquiry.
I'm currently based in Sharjah and looking for my next opportunity in the UAE, open to roles in teaching, academic coordination, admissions/student counselling, or administrative and research support, depending on where the right fit is. I'd rather be upfront about that range than force my experience into a narrower box than it actually fits.
