Job Requirements
• Strong hands-on knowledge of telecommunication equipment such as DWDM, SDH, and OTN
• Willingness to work in field operations
• Flexible to travel across GCC countries
• Ready to work in 24x7 rotational shifts or extended working hours when required
• Must be comfortable working outdoor/on-site environments
Roles & Responsibilities
• Carry and maintain installation tools and Installation Required Materials (IRM)
• Conduct site surveys as per standard format and submit reports to the Project Manager
• Perform material verification at site as per BoQ
• Install ETSI/Telecom racks
• Execute DCDB installation, including power and grounding cable laying, crimping, and termination
• Install telecom equipment ensuring quality standards and workmanship
• Perform equipment commissioning as per CP sheet
• Conduct video fiber scoping for hardware and patch cords
• Execute Nodal Acceptance Testing (NAT) along with customer as per standard procedures
• Perform patch cord routing, testing, and connectivity as per design (NDD/Plan)
• Conduct LSPM testing and share results with Technical Prime/Project Manager
• Handle section integration and clear alarms/observations
• Ensure proper labeling of all patch cords, power, grounding, and LAN cables
• Coordinate with customer for site acceptance and punch point clearance
• Perform self-audit and quality audit, and submit validation reports
• Coordinate closely with Technical Prime and Quality teams
• Maintain site cleanliness and remove all waste before leaving the site
Other Requirements
• Basic knowledge of fiber optics handling, testing tools (OTDR, Power Meter, Light Source)
• Ability to read and understand network diagrams and installation documents
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with safety standards and site compliance requirements
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting, email communication)
