Very reluctantly selling my Orbit off-road camping trailer.
I’ve actually been meaning to put it up for sale for around 6 months, but I kept postponing it because I really didn’t want to let it go. I’ve had some amazing trips with this trailer — desert camping, wadis, beaches and some incredible remote spots around the UAE. I’m only selling it now because I genuinely need to free up space in front of my house/parking.
This is a proper lightweight off-road trailer, not just a road trailer with off-road tyres. I’ve taken it through dunes, rocky wadis and remote tracks and it has always done the job.
It comes with a 360° articulating off-road hitch, which makes a huge difference when driving over dunes, uneven terrain and rocks, as the trailer can move independently from the car without putting excessive stress on the hitch.
It is also fitted with off-road suspension, off-road tyres and a spare wheel.
On top is a very comfortable roof-top tent. When my children were younger, I even managed to sleep inside with my three kids. Realistically, today I would say it is very comfortable for 2 adults + 1 child, or an adult with 2 small children.
There is a huge amount of storage space, which is one of the things I loved most about this trailer. You can load all your camping equipment, chairs, tables, cooking equipment, bedding, tools etc. and still have enough space for a proper camp setup in the middle of nowhere.

60-litre water tank
Water pump and sink
Gas cooking area
Gas instant hot-water heater installed in a rear protective box
Hot water/shower capability
Roof-top tent
Multiple large storage compartments
360° articulating off-road hitch
Off-road suspension and tyres
Spare wheel
Space for 2 batteries
Having instant hot water in the middle of the desert is honestly one of those little luxuries you really appreciate — especially first thing in the morning.
The trailer is ready to use, but I want to be completely transparent: there are a few small improvements that a new owner could make, especially if you enjoy DIY/off-road projects.
I always wanted to upgrade the electrical/lighting system with newer and stronger lights, and possibly add a solar panel system for longer stays. The water pump is working and is perfectly fine for the sink and washing up, but I would eventually install a stronger pump if you want better pressure for the hot shower.
For me, this trailer is ideal for 2–3 night off-grid trips. With two batteries it was already more than enough for the way I used it. Solar would only really be necessary if you plan to stay much longer without moving.
It has been used as an off-road trailer should be used, so it is not a brand-new showroom trailer, but mechanically and practically it has given me some brilliant camping experiences.
The registration should still have approximately one year remaining — I will confirm the exact expiry date with any serious buyer.
I’m also happy to share a few of my favourite camping locations with the new owner. I’ve taken this trailer to some really special places.
