كانون S5 IS من عائلة ال سوبر زوم SuperZoom متوسطة إلى صغيرة الحجم. صنعت في ٢٠٠٧. أولى الكاميرات في هذه العائلة تحمل الحذاء الحار Hot Shoe لتركيب الفلاش الخارجي. حساس CCD التقليدي القديم و الذي يعرف بقراءته الفريدة للألوان و التي تأتي بألوان ذات طبيعة دافئة. الكاميرا ٨ ميجا بكسل و بعدسة تكبير ثابتة و تعمل بشكل ممتاز باستخدام ٤ بطاريات AA. يوجد قطعة بلاستيكية جمالية مفقودة عند مفصل الشاشة و لكن ليس لديها أي تأثير على حركة الشاشة.

2007 Canon S5 IS from SuperZoom family.The first camera in this category that came with Hot Shoe for mounting an external flash. Classical CCD Sensor - not CMOS - which has it's unique way of reading the colors that tends to be warmer generally. The camera is 8mp with a fixed mid range zoom lens and is flawless work by 4x AA batteries. There is a broken & missing cosmetic plastic piece on the hinge that has NO affect or impact on the articulation of the screen.
