This commemorative coin was issuea by the Government of Pakistan in memory of the Second Islamic Summit Conference which was held in Lahore Pakistan in 1974. The special thing about this conference was that it was attended by famous leaders of the slamic world of that time, including Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto from Pakistan Mr. King Faisal from Saudi Arabia, Mr. Sheikh Sabha Al-Salem Al-Saba the Emir of Kuwait. and Mr. Gaddafi from Libya, Mr. President Anwar Sadat from Egypt, Mr. Yasser Arafat. the then Chairman of the PLO, and Mr. Mujibur Rahman from Banaladesh.
