Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, bending, forming, and assembling high-quality metal cabinets, storage units, and server enclosures based on technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Interpret engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and production specs.
• Cut, bend, shape, drill, punch, and assemble sheet metal parts using shearing machines, laser cutters, and press brakes.
• Fabricate premium metal cabinets, frames, and custom components.
• Perform fitting, grinding, deburring, and component preparation for clean welding and finishing.
• Maintain precision and check dimensions to ensure strict adherence to fabrication tolerances.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Education: ITI, Diploma in Fabrication, Sheet Metal Work, Mechanical Trade, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, ideally focused on industrial enclosures or metal furniture manufacturing.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard fabrication machinery.
• Strong understanding of metal types, material thicknesses, and bending deductions. [1, 2]
