Job Details

1. Job Purpose

To plan, monitor, improve, and control manufacturing processes for copper and copper alloy products. The Manufacturing Engineer will ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, optimum material utilization, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate manufacturing processes for copper and copper alloy products, including tubes, fittings, connectors, and machined components.
Study engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements and convert them into practical manufacturing processes.
Develop and improve production methods, process sequences, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
Monitor production activities to ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications.
Optimize machining, forming, forging, cutting, bending, threading, soldering/brazing, assembly, and other manufacturing processes as applicable.
Determine appropriate machines, tools, equipment, and process parameters for production.
Maintain proper records of manufacturing processes, trials, corrective actions, and process improvements.

3. Required Skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and inspection methods.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to identify manufacturing defects and process problems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with production and QC teams.
