​Perform tasks related to the administrative support and activities in terms of internal and external communications, data mining and processing and archiving

Main accountabilities & expectations

1- Advise on procedures and guidelines of employment

2- Coordinate activities between the concerned departments, CASTO and the office of vice chancellor for Community affair.

3- Prepare official and formal communication letters and documentation

4- Compile and Manage alumni data base

5- Officially communicate with potential employers

6- Coordinate career advising and placement of the college students with CASTO personnel.

7- Channel communication through the proper routs to other units in the University

8- Contribute to career fairs and exhibition

9- Ensure the proper archiving and e-archiving

10- Support in terms of logistics academic activities and assessment

11- Supervise, compile and process Departmental reports regarding students' placements and career placement

12- Perform any additional duties required by the higher administration

13- Process and properly prepare Departmental and outreach files

14- Arrange for the Departmental calendar

Job Specific Accountabilities


Required Skills

· Good communication skills in the English and Arabic Languages (Writing and oral)

· High Competency in using IT tools and suits

· Good organizational skills

· Awareness of University bylaws and regulations

· Awareness of labor laws and legislations

· Ability to conduct market analysis

Preferred Qualification & Experience

· B. A./B.Sc. Degree, preferably, in Business related disciplines.

· Proven academic record at the undergraduate levels (undergraduate courses and transcripts)

· At least 1 years of working academic administration

· Preferred certification in MS office, ILETS, and Project management.

Career Placement and Administrative duties

· Archiving of college graduates' files (data bases)

· Compiling official letters in Arabic and English languages

· Conduct market analysis

· Conducting self-assessment protocols

· Attending to the college students' and graduate needs

· Advise on Departmental calendar

· Organize outreach activities

· Compile technical reports regarding placement and employment of the College of Sciences professionals

· Process departmental requests through the proper channels

Community service and outreach :

· Contribute directly/indirectly to committees at all levels

· Aid in public awareness in issues related to the departments in the College of Sciences

· Aid in the supervision and management of students' activities and career advising

· Contribute in the outreach programs and activities

· Organize and contribute student related activities

· Provide administrative support to Departmental and college committees when needed
