THE ROLE
We're looking for a capable and detail-oriented Formulation & Production Assistant to support our Senior R&D;
Formulator, Procurement Manager, and Production Manager across day-to-day lab, sourcing, and manufacturing
operations.
You won't be leading — you'll be executing, supporting, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you're
organized, technically grounded, and thrive in a hands-on environment, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supporting R&D; & Formulation
• Assist the Senior Formulator with bench work, sample preparation, and formula trials
• Prepare and maintain formulation records, batch sheets, and lab documentation
• Conduct stability, compatibility, and sensory evaluations and log results accurately
• Manage lab consumables, equipment upkeep, and sample organization
Supporting Procurement
• Help track raw material inventory levels and flag reorder requirements
• Assist with supplier communication, CoA review, and incoming material documentation
• Maintain the raw material library including TDS, SDS, pricing, and lead time records
• Support cost tracking and purchase order follow-up
Supporting Production
• Assist the Production Manager during batch manufacturing runs
• Carry out in-process checks per BMR instructions and GMP guidelines
• Help coordinate between lab and production floor during scale-up and new product introduction
• Support quality documentation, batch record completion, and finished goods inspection
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 3–6 years of experience in a cosmetic lab, manufacturing,
or personal care environment
• Working knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and basic
formulation principles
• Familiarity with GMP (ISO 22716) practices and lab
documentation standards
• Organized, reliable, and able to follow detailed technical
instructions precisely
• Team player who communicates well and escalates
issues proactively
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
NEED TO HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science,
Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Experience in a contract or private label
manufacturing setting
• Exposure to raw material sourcing or supplier
coordination
• Basic understanding of ESMA or GCC cosmetic
regulations
