We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales within the Hamriyah Free Zone and throughout the UAE.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Al Hamriyah. The Sales Engineer will combine technical knowledge with commercial skills to identify customer needs, recommend suitable products or solutions, and support the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product demonstrations, visiting customer sites, and following up on inquiries and quotations. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinating with internal engineering and service teams, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and contribute to sales forecasts and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas and maritime industries, focusing on pump solutions.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding pump specifications, applications, and system integrations.
Proposals and Presentations: Prepare and present sales proposals and technical presentations to potential clients, showcasing Fluid Tech Engineering's products and services.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and customer preferences to inform business strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer expectations are met and provide feedback for product development.
Sales Reporting: Track sales performance and prepare reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline.
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the oil and gas or maritime sectors.
Strong technical knowledge of pump systems, fluid management solutions, and related engineering principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and build relationships.
Proficient in both English (written and spoken); Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand client needs.
Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
