  • Aljada is located in the Muwaileh / New Sharjah area, with direct access to Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (E311), ensuring good regional connectivity. 
  • It lies about 7 minutes from Sharjah International Airport and 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport under normal traffic conditions. 



Architecture & Central Hub


  • The Central Hub, designed in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, acts as the project’s heart — a car-free leisure & entertainment district with plazas, landscaped gardens, public squares, retail zones, and amphitheater-style spaces. 
  • The architecture draws inspiration from natural forms (e.g. the first drop of rain), and incorporates strategies for passive cooling, water reuse, and native landscaping to optimize microclimate. 



Residential & Lifestyle


  • Aljada offers a wide spectrum of housing types: apartments, townhouses, and villas, catering to singles, couples, and families. 
  • The community is designed to be vibrant, walkable, and amenity-rich: with restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, schools, medical centers, fitness centers, parks, and cultural & entertainment venues. 
  • Aljada’s philosophy emphasizes live-work-play balance, so residents can enjoy daily convenience without having to travel far. 



Status & Future


  • The project was launched in 2017 and development began around 2018. 
  • Full completion is expected around 2028, with the potential to support 75,000 residents. 
  • Some phases are already delivered or underway; others remain in progress.
