Head of Business Setup & Distribution (Project-Based – Exclusive Chocolate Brand GCC)
📄 About the Role:
We are launching a chocolate brand with exclusive distribution rights across the GCC, starting from the UAE.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to establish the business from A to Z, including licensing, logistics, vending operations, and commercial partnerships.
This is a project-based role (3–6 months) with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership position based on performance.
🎯 Scope of Work (Must Deliver):
The candidate will be responsible for delivering the following:
• Full company setup in the UAE (license, structure, banking readiness)
• Product registration and food compliance (municipality & food safety approvals)
• Setup of cold chain logistics (UK to UAE)
• Identification and onboarding of temperature-controlled warehousing
• Selection and contracting of vending machine suppliers
• Securing initial agreements with malls, universities, or high-footfall locations
• Establishing operational model for vending (refill, maintenance, logistics)
• Launch of first batch of vending machines (pilot phase)
✅ Mandatory Requirements (Strict – No Exceptions):
• Proven experience in FMCG / Food Distribution / Chocolate or Confectionery industry
• Must have previously set up or launched a business in the UAE
• Strong experience in logistics, warehousing, and cold chain operations
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with malls, retail, or commercial spaces
• Experience working with vending machines or similar retail channels is a strong advantage
• Must provide clear examples of past projects with measurable results
• Must be currently based in the UAE or able to operate in the UAE market

• You do not have hands-on experience in setting up businesses
• Your experience is only administrative or theoretical
• You have no experience in FMCG, food, or distribution
• You cannot demonstrate real executed projects
💰 Compensation:
• Project-based (milestone-driven payment structure)
• Competitive compensation based on experience
• Potential full-time role upon successful delivery
